Prof DEBALINA CHAKRAVARTY presented her research paper “Harnessing Social Capital for Ecological Restoration and Energy Transition: Insights from Karnataka, India” at the XIII Biennial Conference of the Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE), held from 12–14 January 2026 at Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. She also participated in the pre-conference workshop on Tools and Methods for Decision Making on Ecological Restoration, contributing to discussions on innovative approaches for sustainable energy and ecological restoration. Her presentation contributed valuable perspectives on community-driven approaches to ecological restoration and sustainable energy transitions.
