Mr. Ranit Maity, a 2nd-year B.Tech student in Mechanical Engineering, participated in the Workshop on Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics held on 24–25 January 2026 at IIT Tirupati, in collaboration with IISER Tirupati and IUCAA Pune.
The workshop provided exposure to key areas including observational astronomy, stellar and galactic astrophysics, high-energy astrophysics, cosmology, and exoplanet science.
