Ms. Debajani Rout, a PhD student under the supervisor of Prof. Santosh Kumar, Department of Physics, received the award for best oral presentation in the third international conference on Materials Science and Technology (ICMST 2025).

Ms. Debajani Rout, a PhD research scholar at IIT dhArwAD under the supervision of Prof. Santosh Kumar, participated in the 3rd International Conference on Materials Science and Technology, held from 12th to 14th March 2025 at St. Thomas College, Pala, Kottayam, Kerala, with an oral presentation on "Single Crystal Growth of Rare-Earth Carbide YCoC₂."
She was honored with the Best Oral Presentation Award, recognizing the excellence of her research among the participants.
